Project Eight- Hidden Mickey and a Challenge Item!

OK So I am trying my third challenge. This one is at Cuttlebug Blog. It is Challenge number 5. This was a Father's Day Challenge. I thought I posted this weeks ago, but I didn't. Now you all know I try to keep Disney involved in all my projects here. So what do you do when the person getting the card, is not a huge Disney person. I know, they do exist. Well I am taking my cues from the artist at Disney themselves, a hidden Mickey. So here is my card I gave my dad, with a hidden Mickey. This one is not so hidden but it still took dad awhile to catch it!

Recipe
~~~~~~~~~~~
OK papers are from DCWV pattern paper the rest are from a pack I got at ACM.
Cartridges used: Everyday Paper Dolls.
Cuttlebug folders used: swiss dots on the grass
      spots and dots on the golf bag.
Ribbon: Dollar area of Micheal's
Stamps: My paper Studio and ink was Stampin Up Basic Black
Clouds I cut myself, did you find the hidden mickey!
My dad is a huge golfer and thought this was so cute! Made me smile!
Thanks for looking!
Ribbon mess
OK so Tammy over at Creative Critters Cricut Club was showing us how she stores her loose ribbons. As a random giveaway, she is giving away a Ribbon Bundle. All you have to do is post how you store your ribbon. As since I am still a newbie, I need storage big time. So yes this is how my ribbon is stored on my desk all loose and a big huge mess! I am hoping it will get better as I slowly build my storage for my paper supplies!
New Challenge
Ok so I am so sorry I haven't posted this week. I was in South Carolina with the husband for a few days. Plus when I came back a few days ago, I left my laptop that had all the blogs I follow in my favorites list. So I created a tag for a challenge I found. I am trying my hand at challenges to force myself to "Tink" outside the box
Ok so for this challenge I found it at The Cuttlebug Spot. We were to create a tag. So of course you know I had to get my Disney in somewhere...right LOL. OK so I created a tag for the challenge using Tinkerbell Cartridge. And yes everything everyone told me was right. This cartridge has some tiny cuts in it. So much that I found my way around some of the tiny tiny cuts. So let me know what you "Tink".
Recipe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ok for the Tag
Cartridge: Plantin Schoolbook page 78
Cut at 5 inches.
Shadow layer
Paper: DCWV Scrapbooking Kit Winter 8x8
Tag Layer
Basics Light Blue
Embossed using Cuttlebug Textile Folder

Tinkerbell
Cartridge: Tinkerbell and Friends page 38
Cut at 4 1/4 inches
All papers were from a pack I got at AC Moore
I did NOT use the cuts for lips, eyes and eyebrows.
I used my gel pens to color in these areas.
I added Blue gel pen to wings
I also added Clear Stickles to wings and pompoms of shoes
I also added Green Glitter Gel to her dress.

The challenge was to use the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. Well you all know I love my Disney way to much not to throw a Disney flair into it. Well I have been doing this a lot lately. Taking the head from Mickey and Minnie and (just the head) the body and clothes from the paper doll cartridges. So I made Minnie a witch for this challenge. Oh and we had to use the image 3D. My family is just starting to plan our annual trip for the
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
So I wanted to get inspired for our trip and scrap
some of last years photos.
Plus I wanted to share one of my favorite things to do
when I go to any of the Disney Parks.
I save everything from all the brochures, maps, door cards, napkins and I have even saved the mickey mouse confetti they put on the table is someone is celebrating a birthday!

If you have dinner at any of the sit down resturants during a special party event, look at the menu. Almost everytime we have had a cardstock special menu just for the event. Ask your server if you can keep it. They always do and they make a great background paper. You will see mine in a future project!

Guide to page:
Pattern Paper: Disney Magical meomories by My paper Garden
Black and Purple cardstocks- basic multi pack from AC Moore
