Project Twenty

So I am so sorry all! I have been swamped with getting back to school this year. I am back in college, so at my age and am classes and homework are something to get used to.

OK so I did this project at the beginning of the month for KinderStampO August tag swap. What is a tag swap you ask....I know I had to ask LOL!! OK so we had to make either 5, 10 or 15 tags with the theme, we were assigned Nature. So I made 10 of these tags sent them to Jess, along with a postage paid envelope. Once Jess got everyone, she sorted them as sent each of us the number of tags you sent from the others in the group. I got some beautiful tags. The came today, so I am really excited! So I will know so you the tag I made plus a quick photo of the ones I received.

PS I have to admit, I missed the theme when I started thinking of my tag, so I had to really get my tag together quick.

So here is my tag.

Recipe for the tag
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tag
made from Chipboard
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge
Shadow feature
3 x 5
I tried a trick I heard about
I used the deep blade in the regular housing. It worked ONLY because I was going to cover the chipboard with paper. You could see some of the drag marks in the tag.
Papers
Base Pattern paper was Heidi Grace Designs
cut at 3.1 x 5.1 same tag as above.
I did hide the hole in DS
The paper was 2 sided which I used
one side for front one side for back!
Green Paper by Core'dinations
Cartridge: Plantin Schoolbook
Rectangle
Shift-Main button
2.85 x 3.85
then used the EK Success Medium Rounder punch on corners
Butterfly
Cartridge: Pooh Cartridge
cut at 2 1/4 inches
Basic Supplies
Prima Flowers
Orange and Brown Crystals
Mono Adhesive
Liquid Glue
Oh here is the picture of the tags I received
Hi Everyone and Welcome back. I have been under the weather this past week, so forgive me for the lack of posts. I am back and hopefully back in full force. So This little project is for a friend who works for an after school program, so I thought I would make her a post it note holder. I got my dimensions from Dorcas at 4 Crafty Angels. Check out her blog, she is great. I am also entering this in a challenge for Emma at My Creative Time. So here it is. I think it turned out super cute. Recipe below the picture.
Project Eighteen
Welcome to another project with Disney in mind. This is actually a Birthday card for my sister. I made the doll look like her then used a Disney cartridge to make her Cinderella! Yes major cutting and pasting, but it turned out cute. This is also for another Peachy Keen Challenge #34. We were to use the sketch below for the challenge.
This is what I came up with!
Recipe ( yes this was a long one)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Paper is all Brazzill
Pattern Paper is K1 Memories
Card is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches
Pattern Paper cut to 5 x 8 inches

Strips of paper going across
Pink color is 2 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches then I ran it through the cuttlebug using Swiss Dots folder
White Strip is 2  x 8 1/2 inches then ran through cuttlebug using Polka Dots folder

Strips going up and down
Pink is 3 x 5 1/2 I then used Fiskars Apron Lace border punch on both sides of pink
Pattern paper is the same K1 Memories as background 2 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches

Scalloped circles
Cartridge used: Martha Stewart's All Occasion cakes page 37
pink one cut at 3 inches
White one cut at 2 3/4 inches then ran through with cuttlebug Happy Birthday Folder

Cinderella Doll
OK this is where I had to do major cut and paste to get this to work

Doll it self
Cartridge: Everyday paper doll page 28 cut at 2 1/2 inches using the blackout feature
Face is Peachy Keen assorted faces stamps
ink was Stampin Up Chocolate Chip
Hair was page 31 paper was yellow with a stencil brush using Stampin Up Chocolate Chip for highlights.

Cinderella Dress
 Cartridge: Happily Ever After page 29 icon button both regular and with shift key
OK so the top of the dress was cut at 3 inches
While the bottom of the dress was cut at 2 1/2 inches.
Once dress was put together you still have to "trim" the doll to have the Disney hourglass figure.
I added stickles clear  to the dress and pearls.
I used rhinestones for a tiara.
