Project Twenty-Eight

First off I need to explain why I have not been crafting lately. My house hold is going up side down. My husband and I have been going through the adoption process for just under two years. Well last Friday we were told we had been chosen to be the parents to two beautiful girls age 7 and 9. Well we had one bedroom prepared but not two. So we have been transforming our spare room into a Disney Princess bedroom. Well that room was my craft room....so I had to relocate my crafts ..to our dinning room...until we can find a bigger house. So I know have my craft area under control and its time to CRAFT....yeah...

OK so today's project is for Peachy Keen Challenge. The challenge was to create something in an October theme...but no cards. So I created a scrapbook page for our very soon trip to Walt Disney World's NSSHP. We are going as Pirates so we are really excited. We wish we could take the girls but not yet...maybe for the Very Merry Christmas Party!

OK so here is my layout

  1. Wonderful layout! Hope you have lots of fun at MNSSHP.

And congratulations on your adoption of two little daughters! How exciting this must be for you after waiting for two years. I'm very happy for you and your husband.

Beckie, when you get a chance email me. I have a Disney Princess poster you might want for your girls. My DD outgrew it but it's in great shape and I hate to throw it out. I've been holding onto it and maybe I was meant to pass it on to you. :)
