Project Twenty-Five

Happy Saturday Everyone! I am having a relaxing day just crafting. I so hope you are having a great Saturday also!!

OK so for today's project is for Peachy Keen's Face it Friday's Challenge. Who doesn't just love Peachy Keen Stamps, I know I do. So a challenge where you get to create something and a chance to win some of their super great stamps I am there. So the challenge this week was to create something that includes your Muse.....hmmmmm.....everyone what is my Muse....DISNEY!!!

Actually it's my dear sweet hubby. He is my best friend in the whole world plus he loves Disney just as much as I do...so put the two together and their you have my muses. So I made a scrap book page of him and some characters from a trip to Disney. The recipe is below.

OHHHHHHH Hubby has agreed to start video taping for me. No I could never figure out how all these super creative ladies are making video's. So he has agreed to help me. So we are videoing my first craft video tonight. I hope to have it edited and posted by Monday. I will keep you all updated.

So on today's project

OK So here goes

Paper
The background pattern paper is from EK Success
The shorts are from DCWV linen stack
The Tank top is from K&C Company
The rest was just scraps I had around

OK the photos are 4 x 5 and 4x4
So the white mats are 5x6 and 5x5

Mickey Heads
Cartridge: Mickey and Friends
page 78 with icon button
I cut them in different papers ranging from 1 inch to 2 inches
the mickey on the tank top was cut at 1/2 inch

Paper Doll Hubby
Cartridge: Everyday Paper Dolls
Doll was cut at 4 1/2 with all items cut same size on dial and you Paper Saver button Hit
with the blackout key selected for body page 28
<SumerB> for the shorts page 32
<SumerB-s> that's the same button as above just with the shift key selected for the tank top page 32
<SumerG> with the Accessories 1 button selected for Flip Flops page 33
with the Headwear button selected for hair page 60

For His Face I used the Peachy Keen Everyday Charecters Faces Stamps...yes these are my FAVORITES...but I still have to get the create a critter faces LOL

I used Stampin Up's Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.
I used Signo's white gel pen to color the whites of his eyes.

I added the clothes to the doll
Then added the smaller 1/2 inch Mickey Head to his Tank Top
YES most of my hubby's shirts have Mickey on them some where...LOL
I then took a larger 2 inch Mickey head and placed it behind his head to position right for his Mickey Ears. The only thing I forgot were his glasses...oh well LOL

Thanks for Looking
See Ya Soon

  1. What a sweet layout of your DH. My DH is a big Disney fan too. Aren't they the best?! We are so lucky that the men in our lives are kids at heart too with a love for all things Disney.

And that's cool to hear about your new video. Watching how others scrapbook helps me learn new things and it inspires me too. I'm looking forward to your first video. I'm sure you will do a great job. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. Have a good weekend!
