Project Seventy-one

Happy Monday!

Well we had a fun filled weekend at the parks. Sunday my whole family went to Animal Kingdom. We had a blast.

OK we are working on Valentine Cards for the kids to give out during their Valentine's Day Party this Wednesday. I hope to finish my own cards for the family tonight shhhh!

This is my youngest daughter, Mackenzie's card. She is turning 11 next month. Where has the time gone!

OK so this year, I cheated a tad. I was in Target and they had the red notes cards 8 for a dollar. Each of the kids needed to make eight cards, perfect!

So I hand cut the pattern paper, from a paper stack I bought at Michael's Recollection paper pack
81/2 x 11 to a size of 5 x 3.75 inches.

The heart is Stampin Up Elegant Eggplant I cut at 3 inches using the Cricut Craft Room Basics.
OK then I used my Cri Kits pens for the Bee Mine which is The craft Room Basic Font.
The trick is to cut the hearts on layer one. Then one layer two place the words.
First-cut the hearts out
DO NOT UNLOAD THE MAT!!
replace your blade with the pen
then "cut" the layer with the words.
That easy!

The Bee is cut with Stampin Up Basic Black, Whisper White and Daffodil Delight.

He is from create  Critter.
I cut him at 3.5 inches.
I hid his face and used a Peachy Keen Everyday Character Faces. I have the assortment pack and this face was the largest face.  I then used my Jelly White pen to highlight the eyes. I added some pink chalk to the cheeks. I then added Glossy Accents to the eyes and the top of his antenna's.

I then coated his cute little wings in Crystal Glitter.

Thanks for looking

Project Sixty-nine

Happy Monday!

Well I am trying to come up with a great card to enter Peachy Keen Stamps sketch challenge.
I loved this card. I made another one that you will see on Wednesday that I am actually entering into the challenge.

You still have time to enter the challenge.

So card base is a standard 5.5 x 4.25 Stampin Up Elegant Eggplant
The next layer is 5 x 3.75 inches and is pattern paper from Michael's Valentine 6x6 stack.

I then used my cricut Create a Critter to cut the cow layer at 3.5 inches. I hide the face so I could use Peachy Keen Critter Faces.
The base of cow is Chocolate Chip the next layer is from the same Valentine's paper pattern pack, the next layer is Whisper White that I ran through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The last layer is Pirouette Pink. I used Chocolate Chip Ink to make the face. I then used Jelly Roll Glaze pen and white pen on the eyes. I then added pink stickles to the nose.

For the stripes I cut them out of my Cricut. Then used different papers from same paper pattern. Then used my Cuttlebug Divine Swirl folder on the stripes.

The saying Love Moo get it like Love You was made in my cricut Pooh Font at .75 inches. The paper is Elegant Eggplant.

Can't wait to show you the card I am entering on Wednesday!
