Project Eighty-seven

Hello again! I am honored you are here.

For today I am making a simple graduation card for my niece. She recently graduated from a technical college and earned her Pharmacy Technician Degree. It is the first step in her world. My husband and I so proud of her. We can't wait to see what God has planned for here.

I am also entering this into Bitten by the Bug 2's Graduation Challenge
I really love their challenges. So let's get on with the project!

OK so what girl doesn't love Hello Kitty! Heck I am over 40 and I love her.

Base
Card is a 6 x 6 inch card ... a little bigger than I normally do, we wanted space to write a message and
leave a small gift with it. The paper is DCWV (of course LOL) from the Natural Stack.
Stamp is from Cricut Cartridge Ribbons and Rosettes cut at 5.75 x 5.75 inches. The paper is DCWV
from the High School 8x8 stack. I just took my red Cri-kit pens to add the dots and lines.
Sentiment is from Cricut Cartridge Hello Kitty Font. I used the text box with font size .3 inches and
letter spacing at 0. I then used my Cri-Kit pens to doing the writing. I love these pens!

Hello Kitty
She is from Cricut Cartridge Hello Kitty Greetings.
The shadow is cut at 4.5 inches the paper is DCWV High School Stack
Kitty herself was cut at 5 inches. She is Hello Kitty #14.
I cut everything out then I used my small Xyron sticker maker and "stickered" the font of the gown
and hat. I use this technique so I can glitter the images with out all the wet glue look. What girl
wouldn't like a glittery pink cap and gown. I would have! Then I used gold on the tassel.
The paper used to make my kitty is all DCWV.

Total side note, I am in love with the new monthly or if you want yearly subscription service from Cricut. I use the Craft Room and I love it! I suggest you try it even just for a month. SO many choices now!!

Have a magical day!

Project Eighty-six

Hello!!
I have spent most of my last few days getting ready for Father's Day. I have three girls and one dog, plus my father lives with us. SO between Father's Day cards for Hubby and my dad it has been crafting days. My girls pick out what cuts they want. Help me pick paper and they handle putting the paper on the mat. Once it is all cut out they finish it off. So I had to help each girl make a card for daddy and grandpa. I had to make cards for the puppy to give her dad and grandpa, which I do for her. Plus I make a card for my own dad. SO this is the card I made for my husband for our puppy. Don't forget we had fur babies before kids. So she is his original princess! Our Lady turned 13 this year and has been having some health issues so I am afraid it might be her last Father's Day Card.

This is also a challenge piece for Bitten by the Bug 2's Father Day Challenge.
You have till June 15th to enter so pop over and give it a try. They are addicting, in a good way!

So my hubby loves video games. Well so do I! So I saw this cut and thought it was perfect.

Base is from Cricut Cartridge Wrap it up cut at 5 inches high
the paper is DCWV Alphabet Stack.
I then cut out the handles and added the top control part. I then used Stampin Up Real Red to
     highlight the edges.
The sentiment if the font from Cricut Cartridge Baby Steps. I used my Cri-kit pens. I love these
     things!

Have a Magical Day!

How freaking cute are they!! Thank you Kathy from Peachy Keen for offering these awesome stamps.

OK so my project for today I tried something I have never done before, I water colored!!
I used the cute elephant from above for the Peachy Keen Challenge 14-09 Sketch Challenge

Here is what I came up with

Animal print is from DCWV Animal Crackers Stack cut at 3.75 x 5.5 inches
Glitter leave print is DCWV same stack cut at 2 x 5.5 inches
Plaid patter is also DCWV Animal Crackers Stack cut a square 3 x 3 inches and I inked the edges
with Stampin Up Chocolate Chip Ink.
The circle is 2.75 inches and cut from Cricut Cartridge Craft Room Basics
The banner is from Cricut Cartridge Creative Cards at 3 inches high. I inked the edges with the same
ink as above. Then added details with my black gel pen.

I added some candy dots I had in my box. Sorry I have no idea where they came from!

Elephant
Like I said I used my Stampin Up water color pencils and water colored her. Once dry I added pink chalk cheeks. Pink Stickles to the tail and toes. Every girl needs sparkly toes! Then just pop the circle up with pop dots and used purple stickles around the edge.
I think she is cute!

Project Eighty - two

Hello Again!

I love this time of year. My birthday and anniversary are just a few days apart. My awesome husband just let me go on a craft shopping spree. We have been doing this for a few years, which I love. This is when I buy those odd goodies I have been putting off.

Knowing this, I subscribed to the monthly Cricut images. This is my second month and I am in love with it. There are a few cartridges you don't get and will have to still buy, but they are very few. So I have been having a blast playing with the cartridges I didn't have. My new favorite is Tags, Bags Boxes and More 2. I took me a few cuts to figure out what I was doing wrong. You really need the scoring blade for this one. So one if the fun things I bought was in fact the scoring blade. I LOVE IT!.

OK so this project is a card I made for a challenge over at Bitten by the Bug 2.
We had to alter a cut. SHHHH .... this card is also my anniversary card for my husband. We will be married 19 years on the 10. Where has the time gone. You still have 2 days to enter yourself, so pop over and check it out.

Base

OK standard 5.5 x 4.25 inches card Stampin Up Not Quite Navy
The cloud paper is from DCWV Stack Sunday Afternoon cut at 5.25 x 4 inches
The sentiment is from Peachy Keen's Stamp of the Month Kit from February 2014.

Tea Bag
this is from Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 from Cricut.
with the height at 3.5 inches.
The paper is from DCWV Sunday Afternoon also.
OK I used Cricut Craft room on this one.
Layer 1 the actual piece I want to cut.
Layer 2 The scoring for the piece.
Layer three the words for the gel pens.

With this one you score first, gel pens second and third you cut. Loved it and super easy!

I then cut the sides of the tea bag so you could open it for a secret message.
I then added a heart from Cricut Create a Critter at 2.5 inches. I used the heart to hold the bag closed. I glittered the heart to make it special!!
The phrase in the bag was a phrase from the cartridge and I used my Cri Kit Pens.
This was fun to make!

Have a Magical Day!
