So for my first time back I am off to create a challenge piece, for Bitten by the Bug 2.
We were to create something using a snowflake. Well I have to say I miss snowflakes BIG time.
My family and I live in central Florida. The coldest we got so far was one night at 48 degrees.
I miss snow!!
Here is what I came up with!
So I used the following Cricut Cartridges:
1. The rounded corner rectangle is Craft Room Basics
2. I welded a snowflake into the rectangle and the snowflake is from Winter Lace. I hide a few smaller cuts from the center so to help my shaker card view.
3. I added some smaller snowflakes from Tablescapes Fall and Winter
The pattern Paper is an piece of Vellum I have had in my stash for years.
The blue is Stampin Up Marina Mist and the White is Stampin Up Whisper White.
The Sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Stamps, It is actually from the Summer Pack.
I used Stampin Up Marina Mist Ink.
The snowflakes have had some Distressed Stickles to add a snow like texture.
I used Recollections, from Michael's, Blue micro beads for the shaker part.
Have a Magical Day!

What a wonderful card!! Love the pattern paper and the great snowflakes. Thank you so very much for joining our 'Snowflakes' challenge at BBTB2!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour shaker card is awesome! I think I too would miss the snow if I lived in warm CA or FL, but I'd like a chance to miss it. lol Thanks for joining us at BBTB2 ;-)

Love the way you made it into a shaker card-very creative! 48 would be considered absolutely balmy here where I live! I would certainly trade places in a heartbeat-I think it could take me years to miss shoveling snow, lol! So glad you joined our BBTB2 challenge last week!
