Project One Hundred Tweny-Nine!

I am in such a good mood today. I woke up and my last House-Mouse card was a winner!!!
I love those cute little mice!!

OK so today I am going from Spring ... to Christmas.
I love making Christmas cards for family. I am always late because I hand make them and try to give everyone a different card. SO I found a challenge blog with a Christmas Stamp theme, Christmas Stampin All Year Long.

SO besides a Christmas theme ... they add an other level of fun. This weeks fun was a shape card.
Here is what I came up with.

So I wanted to try my hand at a peek-a-boo shaker card.

So the first picture is how my card looks. The 2nd photo is the scene I created.

OK so all solid paper is Stampin Up. Except the white paper, that is My Favorite Things.
The pattern paper is DCWV.

The Christmas tree is from my Cricut Subscription. I cut 2 on my Explorer. I add a rounded triangle to the middle of one to be my shaker part.

OK the ornaments and the background trees are from Peachy Keen Stamps.
I used their SVG cute to change the size of the ornaments. The trees I kept the same.
I then stamped the svg with Versamark and heat embossed them with green pearl.

I water colored the background with Tim Holtz distress inks, Water Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Stamps.

Have a Magical Day ... we are off to spend a family day at Disney Quest ...

Project One Hundred Twenty-Eight

Hello again my Mouse Friends!!

So who doesn't love the color pink? Well I have a love hate relationship with pink.
So when I found In the Pink Challenge Blog, I was intrigued.

So the challenges must use the color, pink, of course as the most used color.
So then they add a theme to the color pink. This weeks theme was, Sparkle!!

So here is my entry:

So the pink paper is from Stampin Up. The white paper is My Favorite Things.

I created the backgrounds with a stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps. The stamp is Chinese Swirls and it is no longer available.
The first layer I used white paper, stamped the image in Versamark then heat embossed a silver powder. Then once it dried, I water colored it with Tim Holtz's Distress Ink, in the new color Abandoned Coral.
For the second layer I started with pink paper. Then heat embossed the same stamped image but used a pink glitter powder.
The image, Melanie is from Stamp Annie Thing. She is just so darn cute. I colored her with Copics. I then added Wink of Stella (I love this stuff) on her dress and bow.

I cut each layer out using My Creative Time Stitched Rectangle Dies. I also cut out the Hi from the same My creative Time Dies. I then went over the word with Wink of Stella many times to get is really shiny.

I added some pink sequins for extra shine!

You still have time to join in ... so grab your pink and have some fun!

When I heard the challenge my mind went right to this sweet stamp.
OK So solid paper is Stampin Up and the pattern paper is DCWV.
The stamp is Rain Flower. I colored with my Copics.
I used Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies to cut the background papers and my cute mouse image.
The ribbon is from RAMBOM.
I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon the new Distress Ink.
I added Wink of Stella to all the rain drops then added Glossy Accents to them.
The enamel dots are from Stampin Up also.
The sentiment is from Peachy Keen Stamps.

Project One Hundred Twenty-Five

Hello Again!!

So happy to be back. I am even happier to be doing a challenge piece for SVG Cutting Files Blog.

SO background  (of course) I have been buying and attending SVG Cuts for over a year now.
Which normally wouldn't sound so odd .... but I have had nothing to cut SVG out until 3 weeks ago.
I have had a Cricut Expression which everyone knows does not cut SVGs. Well when I heard the new Explorer would cut SVG, I knew I had to have one. So, I was very excited when the challenge came up for the month of April. Well, sure enough, the theme is Summer. Wouldn't you know,  I had not one summer cut. Oh well off I went to buy a few. My husband really does love me.

Here is what I came up with
OK so here is all I used.

Solid paper is from Stampin Up. Pattern paper is DCWV.
I used SVG Cutting File Wave Runner Girl.
Prima flowers and crystals that I bought at the Scrapbooking Expo a month ago.
I used Jaded Blossom Stamps Aloha Stamps for the sentiment and Tropical Dies for the waves.
I used My Creative Time Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies
for the sky background I water colored using Tim Holtz's new Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.

You still have time to join along ...so visit SVG Cutting File Blog to have some summer fun!

This week's theme is Celebrate. As you might guess from the challenge blog's name
the main color you use is PINK!

I actually like how this one turned out.

The stamp is from Sugar Nellie. You can buy her stamps either their main website or at their ETSY store. She has some really adorable stamps.

I usually get the digital stamps, that way I do not have to deal with the international shipping.
All the papers are from Mind's Eye 6x6 stack.
I colored the image using my Copics.
Happy Birthday sentiment is from Peachy Keen Stamps.
The tag for the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Candy Wrap Dies.
The flowers are all Prima Flowers and I just added little pink crystals to the middle.
I added Wink of Stella Clear to the bunnies paws and to the bow but it did not come through in the picture.

I am running late with this one but as of now you have till the end of April 14 to enter. Join Along!! I love doing challenges.

One Hundred Twenty-two

Hello Again!

So I am using one of my favorite stamps again ...... House Mouse Designs
The theme for the challenge over at House Mouse and Friends Challenge Blog was a birthday challenge.

Well funny part is my two youngest daughters and one of my dearest friends daughters birthdays are all with in a three week period. So back story ..... I adopted my children and I encouraged my friend to also adopt. So the "first" year we were moms we were living in North Carolina and she was in South Florida. So we picked a central weekend for the girls birthdays and met at Walt Disney World for a birthday filled weekend. Well we still continue to have the girls birthday weekends at Disney. Now, I just live minutes from the mouse, Mickey Mouse that is.

So this card is actually for my daughter....shhhh....don't tell her. Ok enough story on to the card.

This is for challenge HMFMC191

OK so all solid paper is from Stampin Up and the pattern paper is from DCWV.
I used House Mouse Stamp Cupcake Jump featuring Monica.
that I colored using my Copic Markers. I added Wink of Stella for the shimmer effect.
The Sentiment is cut from a Jaded Blossom's Candy Wrap Dies that I trimmed to fit my plans.
The words are from Peachy Keen Stamps.

OK, so I might have mentioned I love these little mice. Well I went to my local scrapbook store because I needed a T1 Copic marker to finish my little Monica. Well I saw the cutest Bumble stamp while I was there. Only to come home and find out I did not have the correct Bumble colors. My husband was so not amused with my disappointment. So, I secretly ordered them on Amazon. Only, to forget he gets all the email notices from Amazon ... hehe .... he only laughed it off. So I look forward to coloring that little cutie soon!

Thanks for visiting and

I usually write down deadlines and subtract a day. I must have miswrote a few things for this week OK ... so on to today's piece.

I am working on a challenge piece for Jaded Blossom.
The theme for this month was Easter.

SO last month I ordered the Spring Signs and the Fall dies. I love the great sign die.

So here is my card

I used Jaded Blossom's
Fall Dies
Springs Signs

I cut the egg's with my Cricut Explorer
with watercolor paper.
I then colored them with different Copic Markers.
I then added Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
All solid paper is Stampin Up
The pattern paper is from my stash.
I embossed it with a Cuttlebug Folder.
