I haven't been blogging a lot since this past June.

I left being a demonstrator for Stampin Up during this time too.

I had Cancer.

I have had surgery and a very long recovery process, I am still recovering

I think.

I am doing so much better than before.

So I am back to work.

I re-joined Stampin Up ....which I love!!

I so enjoy the fact of products the color coordinate

with each other. Makes my crafting time even more fun!!

I will be doing more videos and my first one should debut

this coming Friday.

I will also be starting my first give away and hosting a

Welcome Back Party

They will be all kinds of free gifts and giveaways!!

You will be seeing tons of changes to the blogs design!!

Well I am YEARS behind....but....

Stampin Up is joining together with Project Life!!

We sell wonderful Project Life products, but for todays

Scrapbook page I just used what I had on hand.

I used our card stock and cut it down to the right sizes

I used some of our Framelits Dies, some simple stamping

and a dash of washi tape.

Project Two Hundred Twenty-Eight

Happy Monday everyone!

 

I am in love with Halloween ... so I am hoping to showcase some of the cute Halloween projects I made for my Etsy Store 

 

This card I made using some of my favorite Halloween Stamps ...

Peachy Keen Stamps stopped making rubber stamps a few years back.

So when I used them I thought I would showcase their awesome face stamps.

BUT ...she started having Digital Stamps.

 

Today's cute little Zombie is not part of the new digi stamps but Wednesday's

project is ... hint I used the Fankie stamp.

 

Now I did PK-1300 Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment

 

 

 

I colored using my Copics.

I used wink of Stella on her hair, shoes and the cute skull

I hate how it never seems to show up on photos ...

so much cuter in person!!

 

Now years ago when I bought these she also had the cutest Zombie faces to go with it

I didn't get them and boy I should have ....

Project Two Hundred Twenty-Four

It has been too long my friends!!

 

Thank you for sticking with me!!

 

So my husband and I have started working my crafts into a

business. We have gone to a couple of craft shows in the area and have done well.

We are working towards a goal of him working full time with me and doing craft shows around the country as a full time business. We hope to start doing full time

traveling this coming March 2017.

I should be blogging a lot more in the weeks to come. I have so many

cute things that I have been working on that I haven't shown you yet!!

 

I had a special request for a rustic Halloween block set.

SO I ended up doing 3 extras for my

Etsy store. So today I am showcasing the first set that I kept in natural wood.

I think it is adorable. The block set is reversible so one side says Boo with a cute ghost

and the other side says Fall. Tell me what you think. They are rustic ....

 

 

 

 

I really wish the photos really showed the background papers better.

I am working on my photography skills .....

Project Two Hundred Thirteen

Hi Everyone!!

 

So I am so excited. My Favorite Things Blog is currently doing

Camp Create Session 3 2016.

The idea was to use heat embossing and blend the colors

around it.

Project Two Hundred Twelve

Hello everyone!!

 

So a quick update on me: We got the pathology reports

back from my oncologist. It was Stage 1 ... Praise God!!!

So the surgery was the cure. I still have to be checked over every six months

for a while but it looks really good.

 

OK so my project today is a card for a challenge for

Annie is such a sweet lady. I was honored to be on her

Digi My World design team. It was my first real DT!!

So she holds a special place with me.

 

Well Stamp Annie Thing is her Stamp line. She has some of the cutest

Project Two Hundred Eleven

Hello my Friends!!

 

So I am starting to heal. I am sore and the incisions are starting to itch,

which is a good sign! We are waiting for the pathology reports and our next appointment

with the oncologist is August 2nd. So far from what her said to my darling hubby after

the surgery that is look better than even he thought.

Thank you for your prayers and concerns.

 

Ok on to today's project.

I like a good challenge, and for awhile I had stopped doing them.

Well, I felt a bit better so I snooped around and found the current

sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things

Here is what I came up with

 

OK so I was so happy how this came out.

I first stamped the image, then I let it dry. I have no patience.

so letting it dry is hard for me.

Then I applied a liquid masking solution. Let it dry over night.

The next morning I used my MFT ink pads and using my blending tool

created the night sky. I then peeled off the masking tape and colored my mummy!

This is the first time I let the whole process and dry before rushing to

the next step! I love how it turned out. I used my Copics to color the mummy and added

Wink of Stella for her costume!

Project Two Hundred Ten

Hello my friends!

Yes, this is 3 days in a row!! I am shocked too

 

So I had surgery Friday and I should be home some time today!

I am lucky that my family is home with me this weekend, to take

care of me. Plus I always have my puppies!!

OK so funny part of this story! This is the second card I made. I made one almost exactly the same.

Made the first card, showed my husband. Then my husband tells me ... hunny your cards has 11 balloons. WHAT .... it is suppose to have only 10. It's their 10th anniversary!!

So I redid the card to only have 10 balloons!!

Project Two Hundred Nine

Welcome Back my Friends!!

So I have set this to post for Friday July 15th.

When this posts I will be in the Hospital.

I haven't yet talked about this but on June 10 of this year

I was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. The first step in treatment

is a full hysterectomy. Which they are doing today.

They will also be staging the cancer at that time to determine if further

treatment will be necessary. Please keep me and my family in your prayers!

Coloring on Kraft Cardstock!

 

What happen to day 1 you ask? Well I had to

order some supplies to participate. I could have used regular foil

paper but why not get my hands on the foil experience!!

 

OK back to Day 2 ...here is what I came up with

 

SO here is my funny for this one .... I colored using some old retired Stampin Up Pencils...

totally forgot they were watercolor pencils. I was fine until I decided to use Wink of Stella on my birds and tree leaves ....opps .... I did like one thing it took away any pencil lines I wasn't liking LOL
