I Swapped!

My Mouse Friends!!

Yesterday I mentioned 

I went to the 

Stamp & Scrapbook Expo.

While there I participated 

in the Saturday Card Swap!!

We had to make 21 cards that were the same.

1 to display and 20 to swap with other card makers!

I was super nervous to share my creation!

Alas, my cards went over with great compliments!

Here is the card I swapped!

I loved the colors and I loved the sentiment.

With the sentiment I used my 

Mini Misti to create

this heat embossed look.

I first stamped the sentiment using 

PTI Hibiscus Burst Dye Ink

I then wiped the stamp off and 

inked and stamped it again

using Versamark Ink. Then I applied 

Stampin Up's clear embossing

powder. The used my heat gun 

to activate the powder. This

way I got the emboss look in the 

matching color ink to the pink

paper in my card!

I took a couple classes, a did a swap and went to

 a planner get together!

SO MUCH FUN!
