Die Cuttin Divas #381

Happy Monday Mouse Friends!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the
They are a weekly challenge blog.
This week challenge was a sketch.
Here is the sketch we were to use

Here is what I came up with

I was in glitter heaven!
So I recently posted I went to my local
Stamp and Scrapbook Expo
I found a few new to me companies
and I feel in love!

The first was Elizabeth Craft Designs
I bought some great shape dies and some wonderful
large double sided tape like really big, and she sells bigger sizes.
This made using glitter so much fun and so easy to work with.
I just applied it to white cardstock, cut out my shapes using my Big Shot
peeled off the top layer of the stick and glittered away!
I meant to go back and buy some more of her glitter later on that day,
but I forgot. I did buy 1 color Turquoise.
I used it on the words Love You.
This was by far the best glitter I have EVER played with. I will be buying more very soon!

The other company I discovered was
I joined thier stamp club
the basic level is 11.95 a month
and you get a brand new stamp set!
PLUS you get a discount on their site
for the level I joined at I get 15% off.
So the hearts and the scalloped circle
is from their dies

Papertrey Ink Make it Monday #332

Happy Saturday Mouse Friends!

Today I am sharing a cute square card
I made for

The challenge was to use petite stamps
in our sets to make background patterns.

Here is what I came up with

So I first cute out a paw print with
my Cricut Explorer.
I then used the negative pieces as a stencil.
I used the paw prints stamp from
Paws & Kisses Stamp Set
in Dark Chocolate Dye ink.
I didn't think the paw shape was coming
through enough, so I then took
Classic Kraft Dye Ink and a blending tool
and applied the ink to the print stencil so
you could see the paw print shape.
I colored the puppy
from the A bit more: Paws & Kisses set
with my Copic markers.
Then I used a piece of washcloth and colorless
blender ink to give it the fluffy look!
I then used my Brother Cut & Scan CM 350
to cut out the stamped image.
