Die Cuttin Divas Challenge 408

Good Evening Mouse Friends!

I had to come into town today so I could blog.
Many of you don't know that I live in the country!
So the only internet available is Satellite service.
So, every time it rains or gets cloudy I lose service.
So in to town I go. Plus it is suppose to rain
for the next 3 days UUGGHHH

Ok so on to today's card.
This is for the
Challenge 408
The theme is
Random Act of Kindness

Just to go along with the theme,
I am randomly choosing 1 person to
win some blog candy.
What is the prize you ask....
It is a Happy Birthday To You
pop up die from
My Favorite Things. It is Brand new from me.
I got the die a while back and I got three of them
so what a great time to give one away.
So all you have to do to be entered is
comment on this post! Easy right?

Ok so on to my card

I love all the colors.
So I started with the new February kit from The Stamps of Life
I stamped the wreath and then added the flowers.
I then cut out the image with my Brother Cut and Scan, this is one of those images I wish I bought
the dies for it. I will be going back and getting them. So to get the center cut out I just
used a circle die.
The cloud background I made using Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.
I used Elizabeth Craft Designs to cut my layers using my Big Shot. I love these dies because they
go between dots on layer and stitched marks the next layer.
I lines up my wreath to stamps the sentiment which is from my January kits from The Stamps of Life.
I then added some Yellow stickles to the bow and added some crystals to a few of the flowers.
I love how it turned out!

  2. That turned out so Pretty Beckie! I love the floral wreath! I hadn't realized you had Satellite Internet... I mean I knew you lived out in the country... but dang! that has to stink sometimes for ya... It makes me nervous too... only because in about 2 more years... I'll be out in the country as well and I NEED INTERNET!! Hubby & I are planning a trip next month to the area we are moving too in a couple more years, just to see what's out there Internet wise... I'm hoping it's somewhat decent but I honestly don't think it will be... You should try planning your posts ahead of time like I do... I make 1 to 2 weeks worth of posts in 1 day so they're pre-schedule in case of situations like yours... I mean I know you want to play along with challenges as well... but that can still be done on those days the weather is nice... this way you don't have to worry about driving to town if they're pre-scheduled ahead of time... Just a thought! :) Big Hugs!
