the theme was

Weather

So I picked this stamp think of warm weather.

Do not get me wrong, I love the cold!

I would love cold and snow, but alas

all we have in the area of Georgia 

I live in isCold and Rainy!

So it makes some of our farm chores really hard

to get finished! We are starting to build 

our new pig pen area.

I am getting my seed order together, and 

planning where everything is going.

This year we are planting an acre of colored bell 

peppers to sell at the farmer's market.

Once the pig pens are done we have major 

repairs to our chicken coops as we get ready

for more chickens!! Farm chores are never done!

OK on to the reason you are here...

I wanted to use bright and cheery colors.

I needed a break from the gloomy weather outside. So I started with a Happy Hoppers stamp. They are the friends of House Mouse. I colored her with Copic markers. I then used Bright Buttercup as my base card 4.25 x 5.5 inches, A2 size. The I took a piece of Hibiscus Burst cut it using my Stitched Rectangle dies, then ran it through my Big Shot using an embossing folder from Darice. 

I then cut a piece of pattern paper using an oval die. So here is where my fun started. I applied double stick tape to white card stock, then using a flourish die I ran it through my Big Shot so I could easily apply the glitter. I am not a fan of weeding, but because the paper was a bit thicker than normal, I had to do some. I do like how it turned out!
