Pop Rocket

Happy Thursday
Mouse Friends!

This is my all time favorite series.
Thursday Treats!

I was in Atlanta meeting my cousin for dinner.
She took us to an old Sears building
that had been transformed into
shops and restaurants on the bottom three floors
and apartments on the higher levels.
The resturants were so cool. All small owners,
no chains. We had Italian, it was yummy.
So for desert we ended up having gelato. Not
before we found this cute retro candy shop.
So who remembers Pop Rocks! I loved these as a kid.

So I started with a slider card SVG file from
I measured the width and length of my pop rocks and I enlarged the file just a bit so it would fit.
I cut the SVG using my Cricut Explorer. All the paper is from Papertrey Ink. I added some Trendy Twine for the fuse, then some stickles and white gel pen for some details.
SO much Fun!

This is a picture of the slider out so you can see your treat!

  1. That sounds like a neat visit! I wish more businesses would take over all those empty buildings and use them for housing and restaurants - It would be so much better than wasting all that space! Glad you had fun!
Your treat packaging is so cute! I was never a huge fan of Pop Rocks but a lot of people still love them and I see them in the $ store - :)
